Brain Health Scotland is an initiative supported by the Scottish Government. It was established in 2020, with the objective of reducing the incidence of dementia over ten years. The service is hosted by Alzheimer Scotland.
Brain Health Scotland work with people of all ages, providing information and advice about how to protect your brain and the different factors that can impact your brain health.
The first drop-in Brain Health Service in the UK opened in 2023, hosted by Alzheimer Scotland at their Dementia Resource Centre in Aberdeen. This service is for anyone who might have concerns about their brain health. NHS Grampian’s website has more information about the Brain Health Service.
